The beaches of the island
– Eristos is the largest and most popular beach of Tilos. Eristos is a long bay that can be accessed through a rough street from Megalo Chorio. Its water is pure and its ambience barren. – Agios Antoniosbeach has crystal clean water and small rocks. Agios Antonios is a calm beach on the northern side of the island. There are no tourist amenities closeby and the seabed can get deep and rocky at some points. – Enjoy privacy in Lethra beach. Two paths reach this small and secluded pebble beach, one is Livadia which passes over the edge of the coastal rocks, and the other by the mainland beginning from the gas station and parallel to the bottom of a dry stream. – The large beach of Livadia is perfect for families with children. Livadia is the only organized beach on Tilos and it is close to most tourist facilities on the island. Water is clean and the shore is mostly pebbled. – Skafi is a large pebble beach on the northern part of the island. A dirt road leads there up to a point and a path continues for another 10 minutes. Beware of the wild rabbits coming out of the bushes. – Plaka beach with exquisite blue water and smattering of palm trees. Behind the beach is fenced park where paecocks roam. Plaka is a narrow bay close to Megalo Chorio. There are some bushes along the beach to provide with shadow and the seabed can get rocky at some points. – The amazing beaches are Tholos and Agios Sergios.
